On the afternoon of February 26th, the State Council held its sixth special study on the theme of "establishing and improving a fair competition system, accelerating the improvement of the basic rules of the national unified market system". Wang Yiming, Vice Chairman of the China International Economic Exchange Center, gave a presentation. Vice Premier He Lifeng and Liu Guozhong of the State Council, and State Councilor Wu Zhenglong delivered exchange speeches. We must adhere to goal orientation, focus on fully leveraging the advantages of China's super large-scale market, abundant factor resources, and complete industrial system, solidly promote the implementation of various key tasks, effectively break through key bottlenecks that restrict economic circulation, and promote the rational flow and efficient allocation of factor resources. We must adhere to a problem oriented approach, comprehensively clean up policies and regulations that hinder unified markets and fair competition, vigorously remove explicit and implicit barriers to market access, continuously address prominent issues such as local protection, market segmentation, and investment attraction chaos, and encourage local governments to actively explore and practice to ensure that the construction of a unified large market progresses step by step. We need to strengthen institutional supply, further improve basic institutional rules such as property rights protection, market access, fair competition, and social credit, refine supporting policies with strong operability, deepen reforms in finance, taxation, statistics, and other areas, and provide institutional guarantees for the construction of a unified national market.
