Accelerating the construction of a new development pattern is a strategic task proposed by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Today, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee held its second collective learning on this topic, with the aim of combining the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, further deepening the understanding of the significance of building a new development pattern, analyzing the problems in work, and exploring measures to overcome major contradictions and accelerate the construction of a new development pattern. The construction of a new development pattern with domestic systemic circulation as the main body and domestic and international double cycles promoting each other was first proposed by me at the meeting of the Central Finance and Economic Commission in April 2020.
