We should do a solid job in the systematic protection of intangible cultural heritage, better meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the people, and promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement. We should promote the creative transformation and innovative development of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, constantly enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation and the influence of the Chinese culture, deepen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, tell good stories about the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and promote the Chinese culture to better go global. On November 29, the "Chinese traditional tea making techniques and related customs" declared by China passed the review at the 17th ordinary session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO held in Rabat, Morocco, and was included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
