China is willing to work with the European side to strengthen macro policy coordination, deepen cooperation in key areas, jointly safeguard energy, food security and the security and stability of the global industrial chain supply chain, and address climate change and other challenges. Li Keqiang stressed that China firmly supports the European integration process, hopes to see a united and prosperous EU, and supports the EU to play a more important role in international affairs. Michel said that the EU attaches importance to cooperation with China and is willing to strengthen dialogue and exchanges with China, jointly safeguard multilateralism, promote international cooperation, maintain free trade and the stability and smoothness of the international supply chain, and work together to address global challenges such as climate change and energy security. The European side adheres to the one China policy and looks forward to holding a new round of EU China leaders' meeting with China, strengthening mutual communication and enhancing mutual understanding. The two sides also exchanged views on the crisis in Ukraine.
