These 45 national advanced manufacturing clusters include the new generation information and communication cluster in Shenzhen, the Internet of Things cluster in Wuxi, and the integrated circuit cluster in Shanghai, covering the key areas of building a manufacturing power. According to the person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the output value of the leading industries of 45 national advanced manufacturing clusters will reach 19 trillion yuan in 2021, 18 national manufacturing innovation centers have been built, more than 170 national single champion enterprises and more than 2200 national specialized and new "little giant" enterprises have been cultivated and created, becoming an important carrier to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. Among the 45 national advanced manufacturing clusters, there are 13 new generation information technology fields, 13 high-end equipment fields, 7 new materials fields, 5 biological medicine and high-end medical devices fields, 4 consumer goods fields, and 3 new energy and intelligent connected vehicles fields. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that, in the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will closely focus on the objectives and tasks of cluster cultivation, innovate ideas and measures, form a policy synergy, and accelerate the construction of a provincial, national and world-class cluster cultivation and development system.
