The 23rd Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) closed in Beijing on the 24th. The meeting took the theme of "adhering to the policy of giving priority to employment" as the theme for consultation and discussion. Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, presided over the closing meeting and made a speech. The broad masses of CPPCC members should give full play to their respective strengths and make due efforts to stabilize economic expectations, stabilize employment, and maintain the bottom line of no large-scale unemployment. Relevant parties should strengthen forward-looking research and strategic planning, actively respond to the long-term impact of industrial and technological changes and population aging on employment, ease structural employment contradictions by comprehensively improving the skills and quality of the labor force, guide people to establish a correct concept of occupation, employment and employment, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term and stable development of employment. Through voting, the meeting decided to add Wang Wei, Liu Hui, Xu Yousheng, Gou Zhongwen and Huang Ming as members of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference; Liu Hui was added as the resident deputy director of the education, science, health and Sports Commission, Huang Ming as the deputy director of the social and Legal Affairs Commission, Gou Zhongwen as the deputy director of the ethnic and religious Commission, Wang Wei as the resident deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese Commission, and Xu Yousheng as the deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese Commission; Jin Xuefeng no longer serves as Deputy Secretary General of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, Cong Bing no longer serves as deputy director of the Committee on education, science, health and sports, and Deng Xiaoqing no longer serves as deputy director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese. To ratify the decision on revoking Comrade Li Jia as a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. Before the closing meeting, Tie Ning, chairman of the China Federation of literary and art circles and chairman of the China Writers Association, was invited to give a study lecture entitled "Chinese people's reading - continuous inheritance of the national spirit".
