The Ministry of Education recently issued a notice to deploy and implement the new phase of the New Era Primary and Secondary School Famous Teacher and Principal Training Plan (2024-2027) (hereinafter referred to as the "Double Name Plan"), aiming to cultivate more educators with distinct educational concepts and mature teaching models, and can lead the reform and development of basic education. The "Double Name Plan" aims to cultivate teachers, party organization secretaries, and campus leaders engaged in frontline education, teaching, and management work in ordinary primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and special education schools, as well as teaching and research personnel engaged in educational research and guiding frontline practice in teacher development institutions. This year, we plan to rely on the training base to conduct a three-year centralized training for about 300 outstanding primary and secondary school teachers and principals selected. At the same time, a group of high-level comprehensive universities have been added as training bases for famous teachers and presidents in the "Double Name Plan", undertaking training tasks, and a total of 32 training bases have been established. The new "Double Name Plan" will actively promote the construction of studios for famous teachers and principals, explore mechanisms for cultivating and leading famous teachers and principals, and drive the overall improvement of the quality of teachers and principals in the region. At the same time, taking on educational assistance tasks as an important part of training, establishing practical points in key counties for national rural revitalization assistance, and establishing precise assistance mechanisms through on-site teaching support, online joint teaching and research, and collaborative research on topics.
