Sanxing Village is the village where the Sanxingdui Site is located. When archaeologists began excavating Sanxingdui in 1980, the Zhongxing Commune where the Sanxingdui site was located was renamed Sanxing Village in Nanxing Township. At the end of 2021, the total population of the village was 6242, of which nearly 5000 people lived within approximately 3 square kilometers of the core protected area of the Sanxingdui Site. In recent years, the local government has taken the lead in establishing a volunteer patrol team of over 80 people for cultural heritage preservation and comprehensive management to protect the safety of cultural relics. Especially after the restart of archaeology at the Sanxingdui site, the archaeological discoveries and research of the six newly discovered sacrificial pits have attracted widespread attention. How to achieve a win-win situation between cultural heritage protection and rural development through the effective and rational utilization of cultural heritage resources? At the end of 2021, Sanxingcun renovated and utilized an abandoned water park, and invested in the establishment of an archaeological exploration base with Sanxingdui culture as the theme. The Sanxingcun Archaeological Exploration Base is located within the ancient city of Sanxingdui, only 200 meters away from the Sanxingdui "Sacrificial Pit" site and 1.5 kilometers away from the Sanxingdui Museum, providing ample conditions for conducting research activities. The Sanxingcun Archaeological Exploration Base has three major experiential scenes, namely archaeological sites, production workshops, and ancient Shu villages, corresponding to the three major connotations of archaeological relics, craftsmanship, and social life at the Sanxingdui site. It also serves the three main theme courses of "archaeological excavation, production and construction, and ancient Shu life". At the simulated archaeological site, students listened to the teacher's explanation of the important ruins of Sanxingdui, including the F1 house site, ash pit, and No. 2 pit. After the teacher finished explaining the operation steps, the students took the archaeological tools and followed the correct method to excavate the pre buried simulated bronze human head and ivory. When an ancient Shu craftsman experiences the process of making molds, molds, casting, and repairing, students can also create stunning simulated bronze artifacts. Entering ancient Shu villages and experiencing the daily lives of ancient Shu people, obtaining food, processing grains, and spinning silk like ancient Shu people... Although it is a simplified archaeological excavation process, it can convey concepts such as "scientific excavation", "legal excavation", and "settlement archaeology". Since the operation of the Sanxing Village Archaeological Exploration Base, the staff of the base have gone to other places multiple times to seek useful experience. By visiting important sites and museums such as Dahe Village and Yin Ruins in Henan, we have reached a preliminary intention to strengthen cooperation with each other and jointly promote the healthy development of archaeological research. The Sanxing Village Archaeological Exploration Base adopts a domestically innovative cooperation model, led by the village collective where the site is located, guided and supported by the site management, and operated by a third-party professional team. How to innovate and transform archaeological heritage resources into educational resources is an important task, implemented by the professional team of the "One Day Archaeologist" project. "Being an Archaeologist for a Day" is an innovative public archaeological project composed of a team of young archaeologists. Most of them graduated with a Master's degree in Public Archaeology from Peking University and have previously worked at the Public Archaeology and Art Center of Peking University. They were responsible for organizing and implementing archaeological research activities such as the Peking University National Middle School Archaeology Summer Camp, and formed nearly a hundred archaeological and cultural associations in primary and secondary schools across the country. They also established an archaeological association alliance and have rich experience in the field of public archaeology. Guided by the Education Bureau of Guanghan City and the Guangong Committee of Guanghan City, supported by the Sanxingdui Town Government, the Sanxingcun Archaeological Exploration Base is responsible for
