The Chongqing Municipal People's Government recently issued a notice entitled "Several Policy Measures to Support the High Quality Development of the Western Land Sea New Corridor in Chongqing", which will implement 16 policy measures to support the high-quality development of the Western Land Sea New Corridor. The Western Land Sea New Corridor operates in Chongqing as the operating center, with key nodes in various western provinces, regions, and cities. It utilizes transportation methods such as railways, sea freight, and highways to reach various parts of the world through coastal ports such as Guangxi and Yunnan. The 16 policy measures revolve around four aspects: supporting the development of major outbound channels, cultivating and strengthening the channel economy, strengthening the construction of logistics infrastructure system, and optimizing the port logistics business environment. Chongqing will further improve the logistics and operational efficiency of the western land sea new channel, and operate rail sea intermodal trains from Chongqing to ports such as Beibu Gulf Port, Zhanjiang Port, and Yangpu Port; Collaborate with all parties to encrypt the sea freight route from Qinzhou Port to Singapore Port, achieving "daily shift". It is reported that Chongqing will also promote the construction of the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park, serving the "Chongqing Automobile Going Abroad", supporting the "Industry Following", and driving the "Import of Raw Materials"; Strengthen the construction of logistics networks, supported by the five national logistics hubs of port type, land port type, airport type, production service type, and commercial service type, support the construction of supplementary and strong chain projects, promote the construction of railways and expressways entering ports and parks, and smooth the last mile of logistics. At the same time, we will increase the cultivation of logistics operators, reduce port logistics costs, enhance the support role of financial services, and enhance the construction capacity of tax service channels.
