On March 28th, the People's Liberation Army stationed in Hong Kong adopted an emergency pull exercise method, deploying some troops from land, sea, and air forces, organizing joint patrols in the first quarter, with a focus on enhancing the combat capabilities of the troops in emergency response, rapid planning, emergency deployment, joint operations, and special situation handling. This joint patrol covers multiple branches of the military, including highly mobile infantry on land, naval training vessels, and aerial patrol helicopters. According to practical requirements, emergency troop deployment is organized, a rapid system construction is carried out, and multiple courses are implemented in a coherent manner. The focus is on the rapid deployment and planning of the exercise command post, sea and air patrols and temporary inspections and arrests, joint sea area control, emergency rescue and repair, and other practical content. In high-intensity adversarial exercises, command and control, information communication, joint operations, and comprehensive support are tested, consolidating and enhancing the emergency response and diversified military tasks of the stationed troops. Throughout the joint patrol process, the stationed troops strictly complied with the laws and regulations on roads, waterways, and aviation management in Hong Kong, and notified relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government in advance.
