Shen Jun said that this year marks the 40th anniversary of China's polar exploration and the 20th anniversary of the construction of China's Arctic Yellow River Station. Relevant departments will carry out a series of commemorative activities. Starting from late June, the 40th anniversary achievement exhibition of China's polar exploration will be held at the National Museum of China, vividly reproducing the glorious history of China's polar exploration; In July, on the 20th anniversary of the construction of the Arctic Yellow River Station, a reception and seminar will be held at the station. In addition, during China's 41st Antarctic Expedition, receptions, seminars and other activities will be held at the Great Wall Station and Zhongshan Station. When the "Xuelong" and "Xuelong 2" exploration ships dock at the outer port, public open days will be held. In November this year, the Ministry of Natural Resources and relevant departments will commend advanced collective and individual representatives in polar exploration, and hold an international seminar on polar exploration.
