The 2024 Sands China Macau International Ten Kilometer Run, co hosted by the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, Sands China Limited, and the Macau Athletics Association, was held in Macau on the 17th. DAVID BETT and BETTY SIGEI from Kenya respectively won the men's and women's 10 kilometer championships. The Happy Run (approximately 5 kilometers in length) event fired its gun at 7 o'clock, and the 10 kilometer event started at 7:30 o'clock. The starting point of both projects is the West Bay Lake Plaza in Macau, and the endpoint is the Sports Ground of the Macau Olympic Sports Center. Several participants in this competition have broken multiple competition records. DAVID BETT, a male athlete from Kenya, broke the race record with 29 minutes and 02 seconds to win the championship, while BETTY SIGEI, a female athlete from Kenya, also broke the race record with 33 minutes and 53 seconds to win the championship. On the Macau side, Wang Kun in the men's group broke the Macau regional record and won the championship with a time of 33 minutes and 05 seconds; Female contestant Xu Lang broke the Macau regional record and won the championship with 38 minutes and 12 seconds.
