On the 5th, the reporter learned from the Guangzhou Baiyun Entry Exit Border Inspection Station that the passenger flow at the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport port has shown a significant recovery growth, with over 40000 people on February 3rd, a new high in nearly four years. Since the start of the Spring Festival travel rush on January 26th, as of 24:00 on February 3rd, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has inspected nearly 320000 inbound and outbound personnel and approximately 2500 inbound and outbound flights, with a significant increase in passenger flow. As the Dragon Year and Spring Festival approach, the combined impact of outbound tourism and returning home visits is expected to maintain a high daily average of 39000 inbound and outbound passengers at ports. In order to facilitate passenger clearance, Baiyun Border Inspection Station has increased its guidance and diversion efforts for inbound and outbound passengers. Yao Yu, the captain of the eighth duty team at Baiyun Border Inspection Station, said, "We will adjust the on-site service organization at any time according to the fluctuation of passenger flow, allocate sufficient police force, open sufficient inspection channels, and fully ensure the safety, smoothness, and harmony of port clearance." According to the relevant person in charge, during the Spring Festival, Baiyun Border Inspection Station will make appropriate arrangements for various clearance measures during peak passenger flow, and provide warm services for special passengers such as elderly people who need special care, passengers with limited mobility, pregnant women, and disabled passengers, to ensure the safe and efficient clearance of inbound and outbound passengers.
