In 2023, the national immigration management agency will coordinate and promote the strict crackdown on crimes that obstruct national (border) management, such as the "Mongoose Hunting" campaign and the special actions for the governance of "three non" foreigners. We will resolutely build a strong barrier for border security and stability, and safeguard national sovereignty, security, and development interests. Throughout the year, more than 58000 criminal cases were investigated and handled, and more than 109000 suspect were arrested. Throughout the year, 65000 foreign nationals who entered, resided, and employed illegally were investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law. They were strictly punished with warnings, fines, administrative detention, and time limits for leaving the country in accordance with legal provisions.
