Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a notice to fully implement the infiltration action of school aesthetic education, including the deepening action of aesthetic education teaching reform, the improvement action of teacher aesthetic education literacy, and the popularization action of art practice activities, to promote the formation of a fully covered, diversified, and high-quality modern chemistry school aesthetic education system with Chinese characteristics. In 2020, the General Office of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Art Education in the New Era", proposing to improve students' aesthetic and humanistic literacy as the goal, promote the spirit of Chinese art education, and incorporate art education into the entire process of talent cultivation in various levels and types of schools. The Ministry of Education has arranged and deployed the comprehensive implementation of the school art education infiltration action, which is a further implementation of this opinion. It targets the marginalization, knowledge-based, and exam oriented tendencies of art education to varying degrees in reality, and continuously improves students' art education literacy through the implementation of the entire process of art education. In educational practice, due to the fact that aesthetic education is not directly related to the core subjects of the middle and high school entrance exams, in some places and schools, music and art courses are regarded as "minor subjects" and "bean sprout subjects", and are to varying degrees squeezed out; In some remote rural schools, there is a shortage of full-time teachers and classrooms, making it difficult to fully open music and art courses. In addition, some primary and secondary schools, in the process of carrying out aesthetic education courses, overly emphasize the knowledge-based and skilled education of students, while neglecting the cultivation of students' aesthetic education quality, aesthetic consciousness, and ability. The tendency towards exam oriented aesthetic education has attracted attention. To implement the infiltration action of aesthetic education well, the first step is to eliminate some "side subject thinking" in schools, equip aesthetic education teachers in accordance with the national aesthetic education curriculum requirements, and ensure the school's aesthetic education facilities and equipment. At the same time, we should update the concept of aesthetic education, attach importance to the process evaluation of students, pay attention to the process of students attending aesthetic education classes and participating in art activities both on and off campus, so that students can truly immerse themselves in the aesthetic education environment and receive nourishment from aesthetic education. The most crucial aspect is to accelerate the reform of the school and student evaluation system. On the one hand, it is necessary to reverse the evaluation of school quality based on students' exam scores and enrollment rates. By focusing on the construction of school aesthetic education courses, local education administrative departments are forced to provide schools with sufficient aesthetic education teachers, ensure the resources of aesthetic education, and ensure that the requirements for fully opening aesthetic education courses are implemented. For schools in rural areas with limited resources for aesthetic education, we will strengthen provincial financial coordination and provide targeted assistance to schools to solve the problems of aesthetic education teachers, venues, and facilities and equipment. On the other hand, emphasis should be placed on the process of students participating in aesthetic education rather than the outcome, and process evaluation should be strengthened. Only by truly participating can students explore, discover, and create themselves through aesthetic education, thus obtaining true education. Without participation in artistic activities, it is difficult to cultivate artistic interests and enhance artistic literacy. The notice clearly states that in the implementation of infiltration actions, the evaluation mechanism should be optimized, requiring primary and secondary schools to organize and implement comprehensive artistic quality assessments for all students in accordance with curriculum standards, encouraging the expansion of assessment content and methods, improving academic level exams for art subjects in primary and high schools, incorporating aesthetic education evaluation into students' comprehensive quality files, and encouraging places with conditions to explore the use of sensing technology, big data, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, etc Activating teaching content through virtual reality, innovating teaching methods, enriching artistic experiences, and improving evaluation processes.
