On the 27th, Egyptian President Cesi held talks with visiting Jordanian King Abdullah II in the capital Cairo, discussing issues such as the relationship between the two countries and the Palestinian Israeli conflict. The Egyptian Presidential Office issued a statement on the same day, stating that the leaders of the two countries exchanged views on how to further develop bilateral relations, and focused on discussing the Palestinian Israeli conflict and the humanitarian tragedy facing the Gaza Strip. The leaders of both countries have expressed complete opposition to all attempts to cause Palestinians to leave their homes or become internally displaced. The only solution that the international community should push for is an immediate ceasefire and prompt provision of sufficient relief assistance to truly alleviate the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip. They emphasized the need to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital and based on the 1967 borders, in accordance with relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, and to resolve the Palestinian Israeli issue fairly and comprehensively. The Palestinian Gaza Strip health department issued a statement on the 27th, stating that since the outbreak of a new round of Palestinian Israeli conflict on October 7th, Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip have caused over 21000 deaths and more than 55000 injuries.
