More than 60 exhibitors from China have brought a "China Plan" for green travel, providing new ideas and directions for the development of the global bus and road passenger transport industries. China Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. showcased four pure electric technology vehicle models, covering multiple sub operational scenarios such as tourism and urban public transportation. Among them, the T15E pure electric bus won two awards at the World Bus Expo, namely the Design Award and the Environmental Protection Award, making it the only pure electric road model to win awards at the event. At the Yutong Parts Exhibition Area, pure electric parts solutions including batteries, motors, electronic controls, electric drive bridges, and chargers, as well as components such as air conditioning, seats, and intelligent cabins, all made their debut, showcasing Yutong's supply, production, research, and sales capabilities for the entire upstream and downstream industry chain of new energy buses to the global market and users. Chinese company Hager Bus has brought three pure electric vehicles, including the first released models, customized and developed models specifically for the European market, and models that provide the "last mile" solution. While responding to the low-carbon and environmental protection concept of the European market, it fully considers the practical needs of many cities in Europe to increase bus coverage and electrification ratio. With the advantages of low floor, large space, low energy consumption, long endurance, intelligence, and humanization, the new sixth generation Azure9 from Hagrid has brought a new choice for low-carbon public transportation in the European market. BYD has chosen to launch two pure electric buses worldwide at this exhibition, one of which is equipped with a brand new blade battery chassis, with a single charging range of up to 600 kilometers, ensuring efficient long-distance operation and providing more convenient solutions for intercity public transportation. Jean Will Gongtiqiao, Deputy General Manager of Bus Sales Department at BYD Europe, stated that blade battery chassis technology will make vehicles safer and more energy-efficient. Chinese electric vehicle charging equipment manufacturing enterprises and charging operators have specially called New Energy Company to participate in the exhibition for the first time this year. Liu Tiecai, the head of the International Business Unit of TEDA, stated that the European electric bus market has a great potential for growth, while the construction of charging equipment and infrastructure is still in its early stages. Currently, the equipment and facilities mainly based on AC charging piles are difficult to support the large-scale development of European electric vehicles. TEDA has nearly 10 years of industry-leading experience in China and can further strengthen cooperation with Chinese brand electric bus companies and European peers based on customer needs.
