Shangdaman is sworn in as the President of Singapore

On the evening of the 14th, Singaporean President Shandaman was sworn in at the Presidential Palace. At the swearing in ceremony, Shang Daman said that he will faithfully and diligently fulfill his duties, unite the people, and build a more inclusive society. At the same time, he will do his best to represent Singapore on the international stage, continuously deepening and expanding partnerships with other countries. Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered a speech at the ceremony, stating that the decisive victory achieved by Shandaman in the presidential election demonstrated the support of voters for him, and the Singaporean government will fully support Shandaman in fulfilling his duties. Singapore held a presidential election poll on the 1st of this month, with Shandaman winning with 70.40% of the vote, and was elected as the ninth President of Singapore. Shandaman is 66 years old and has served as Singapore's Minister of State, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Education, and Minister of Manpower. (New News Agency)
