Legal supervision is the foundation of the procuratorial organs, which is not only constitutional positioning, but also legal empowerment, and political responsibility. The conference emphasized that national laws, especially legislation closely related to the performance of procuratorial duties, are the fundamental basis for the procuratorial organs to perform their functions and play a role. We should actively participate in legislative work with a higher position and broader perspective, combined with the actual situation of procuratorial work, and better serve the overall work of the Party and the country. The Supreme Procuratorate should play a greater role in legislative research and participation in legislation, effectively promoting the incorporation of more prosecutorial work into legal and institutional norms, and better guiding and promoting the implementation of prosecutorial work. The Procuratorial Public Interest Litigation Law has been included in the legislative plan of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee as a category one project, fully reflecting the trust and expectations of the Party and the people in the procuratorial public interest litigation work. As a judicial organ that ensures the unified and correct implementation of national laws, procuratorial organs should continuously improve their level of legal supervision, actively cooperate with the National People's Congress in law enforcement inspections, do a good job in clearing and revising judicial interpretations, and further promote the improvement and implementation of laws. The basic requirement for the Supreme Prosecutor to take the lead in handling cases is to consciously fulfill their legal responsibilities. The meeting emphasized that the Supreme Prosecutor should not only strengthen case management and guidance, but also strengthen their own supervision and handling of cases. Pay special attention to handling major, difficult and complex cases, cross regional major parallel cases, new and typical cases with judicial leading value, promote the introduction of relevant judicial interpretations, and clarify judicial handling standards and principles. Actively respond to the needs of judicial practice, promptly formulate and issue guiding cases and typical cases, and effectively solve practical problems in grassroots case handling. We need to continuously deepen and improve the mechanism of integrated, comprehensive, and proactive performance of procuratorial organs, better coordinate the handling of cases, form a joint force for supervision and handling of cases, improve the overall quality and efficiency of procuratorial organs' supervision and handling of cases, and strive to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case. The meeting pointed out that the "2023-2027 Procuratorial Reform Work Plan" has made a systematic plan and deployment for the next five years of procuratorial reform, which is to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, deepen the comprehensive reform of the judicial system, and comprehensively and accurately implement judicial responsibilities
