According to residents who had already experienced the ride code service on the same day, now in Zhuhai and Hengqin, they can scan the code and take the bus with the ICBC Macau mobile bank, and there is no need to prepare change, which is much more convenient. Previously, Macau residents returning to the mainland needed to exchange currency for change or recharge their local bus cards in order to take the local bus. Now, all you need to do is activate the "ride code" service in the ICBC Macau mobile banking app, choose to bind your UnionPay card, and show your Zhuhai bus ride code when taking a bus to pay for one scan. The system automatically converts the RMB fare into Macau dollars for deduction, without additional handling fees. The ICBC Macau mobile banking app also synchronously launches the Hong Kong UnionPay ride code, supporting users to "swipe the code" to take local transportation such as trams, KMB, Citybus, and Longyun buses. At present, over 30 million UnionPay cards have been issued in the Hong Kong and Macao regions. In addition to the Hong Kong and Macao versions of "cloud flash payment", 6 out of 8 wallets in the "Juyi" network in Macau have access to UnionPay payment services. On this basis, Hong Kong and Macao residents and enterprises can also pay mainland taxes and social security online through UnionPay cards.
