Based on the National Arts and Crafts Survey, the first "National Folk Arts and Crafts Exhibition" organized by the Ministry of Culture in New China has promoted the restoration of production areas, publication of textbooks, and teacher training, while also promoting the establishment of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, the first higher education institution in arts and crafts in New China. After 70 years, the exhibition "Salute 1953: Selected Works from the National Folk Art and Crafts Exhibition" was planned, not only to pay tribute to the exhibition of that year, but also to pay tribute to the era and figures exploring the development and industrialization of new China's arts and crafts. For the first time, the exhibition systematically sorted out over a thousand sets of works collected by the Art Museum of Tsinghua University, selecting more than 170 sets. In addition to the exhibition manual, postcards, commemorative badges, as well as Zhang Guangyu's design drawings, books and literature, a total of about 200 sets of collections were exhibited. The exhibition features six units: "Salute to 1953", ceramics, lacquerware, weaving and dyeing, New Year paintings, and miscellaneous items, presenting three dimensions of appreciation and reflection: "literati interest and appreciation of refined and popular culture", "folk creations and auspicious culture", and "New China, new themes". While analyzing the shape and decoration, materials and craftsmanship, design and production of the works, it also tells the era and culture, consumption and life behind them. In the exhibition hall, a multi-dimensional chart showcasing policy guidelines, economic construction, education and publishing, as well as exhibitions at home and abroad, was presented to sort out the historical context and influence of the 1953 exhibition. The specially designed "Exhibition Category Framework Map" system presents the basic appearance of the exhibition that year, and the "Production Area Craft Category Map" guides visitors to intuitively understand local craft products. In the ceramic unit, pottery, porcelain, and ceramic sculptures from seven production areas across the country have unique characteristics in terms of materials, craftsmanship, function, themes, shapes, and decorations. Yixing purple clay pottery in Jiangsu is famous for tea sets and flower pots because of its excellent air permeability. The "Purple Sand Narcissus Pot" by Chen Mengying, a renowned figure in the early Qing Dynasty, has a simple and elegant design, with fresh and elegant calligraphy and painting decorations; The tea set of the modern famous artist Zhu Kexin is themed on squirrel grapes, symbolizing the auspicious harvest and the auspicious harvest of many children. The purple pottery in Jianshui, Yunnan is often carved with different colors of clay and filled with calligraphy and painting, forming a "residual stick" decoration with local characteristics. It has a strong literati atmosphere, such as the "purple pottery carved with residual stick flower and bird pattern bottles" by Xiang Fengchun, Ding Jisan's pottery, Ma Jisheng's painting, and Meng Song's poem "purple pottery with two ears and four sides bottles". Hunan copper official pottery is mainly made of green and brown glazes, mostly used as daily utensils such as double seasoning jars and kettles. The carving and flower leaving techniques of pottery in Jieshou, Anhui, and the decoration of the martial arts drama "Dao Ma Ren" are unique, with famous artists represented by Lu Shan Yi. Jingdezhen, Jiangxi is a traditional porcelain area with a large production and wide marketing. It has a rich variety of celadon, blue and white, ancient colors, and exquisite techniques such as color painting and relief carving. For example, the "blue and white dragon pattern plate" is characterized by the "exquisite eye" technique of carving and translucent light; One piece of celadon relief
