The 6th China International Import Expo Indonesia Promotion Conference was held in Jakarta on the 30th, attracting over 100 Indonesian business professionals to participate. Shi Ziming, a public counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, stated that 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia, as well as the "first year" of jointly building a community with a shared future between China and Indonesia. He hopes that Indonesian enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, can seize the opportunity to make the CIIE a window for showcasing products and images, a platform for exchanging technology and information, and an opportunity to explore Chinese and global markets. In his speech, Ning Feng, President of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), said that Indonesia is an old friend of the CIIE. Over a hundred Indonesian companies participated in the first five CIIE sessions. We welcome Indonesian companies to leverage their advantages in the fields of food, energy and chemical, textile and light industry, tourism, and other industries, and through the CIIE platform, to bring more high-quality products and services to Chinese consumers. Lin Xiaojing, General Manager of the Product and Marketing Department of Indonesia Golden Light Group, stated that the company has been participating in the CIIE for five consecutive sessions since 2018, and has also signed a contract for the sixth CIIE. China is a very important market, and the vast platform provided by the CIIE can showcase and promote environmental protection products of enterprises. The promotion will be supported by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited Jakarta Branch, and the Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
