Nowadays, more and more residents have significantly improved their medical experience and health management effectiveness at their doorstep. Strengthening the grassroots level has always been the focus of deepening the reform of China's medical and health system. With the rapid growth of residents' demand for nearby medical services, especially the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases among the elderly, the demand for medical treatment, examinations, and other services is constantly strengthening. Continuously improving grassroots disease prevention, treatment, and health management capabilities is not only an inevitable requirement to meet the health needs of the masses, but also a key link in promoting the faster formation of a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment pattern. Community hospitals should play a significant role. Strengthening the capacity building of community hospitals is crucial in enabling common and minor illnesses to be diagnosed and treated at home. Being close to the needs of residents is the foundation. Whether it is building characteristic departments or expanding services such as medical and elderly care integration, they are all aimed at meeting the more practical medical service needs of residents in the jurisdiction. Are there more elderly or young people in the community? What are the common diseases that occur frequently? Only by understanding the bottom line and needs can we improve our diagnosis and treatment capabilities in a targeted manner, and increase residents' awareness, trust, and recognition of community hospitals in daily medical services. Only in this way will more people be willing and confident to seek medical treatment in the community, gradually changing their medical habits, and promoting the formation of a medical pattern of "minor illnesses at the grassroots level, major illnesses at major hospitals, and rehabilitation back to the grassroots level". The software and hardware facilities need to be improved. In recent years, more and more community hospitals have been able to carry out tests such as blood count, electrocardiogram, and CT, and obtain reports in the community, greatly facilitating patients. We need to further supplement basic medical equipment, continuously improve facility conditions, and introduce advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment within our capabilities. In addition, it is necessary to improve mechanisms such as remote consultation and two-way referral, and accelerate the construction of information technology. For example, by encouraging family doctors to use information technology such as intelligent management, further improving service quality, optimizing medical procedures, and improving service accessibility and convenience.
