The reporter learned at the conference that the 133rd Canton Fair is scheduled to be held offline in Guangzhou from April 15th to May 5th, and the online platform will be operated regularly. According to Wang Shouwen, the International Trade Negotiation Representative and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, the offline exhibition of this year's Canton Fair will be held in three phases, with each exhibition lasting for 5 days and a total exhibition area of 1.5 million square meters. Over 34000 export exhibiting enterprises have set up import exhibitions in the third phase of the exhibition. Among them, the export exhibition covers 1.47 million square meters and the import exhibition covers 30000 square meters. The export exhibition consists of 54 exhibition areas for 16 major categories of goods, with approximately 70000 booths and over 34000 participating enterprises. Among them, there are a total of approximately 5700 brand enterprises or enterprises with the titles of manufacturing champion and national high-tech enterprise. The import exhibition was established for the first time in all three exhibition periods, with a total of 508 foreign companies from 40 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, and Spain participating. More than 35000 online exhibition exhibitors have participated, and the platform functions have been further optimized. At the same time, we will focus on key markets, carry out "one-on-one" precise investment promotion, organize 10 routes to promote and promote in key regions both domestically and internationally, hold more than 40 "Trade Bridge" supply and procurement docking activities, and invite 14 domestic and foreign retail giants and well-known cross-border e-commerce platforms to settle in for procurement. In addition, this year's Canton Fair will further improve its trade supporting services, providing seven major categories of trade services, including logistics and warehousing, finance and insurance, testing and certification, business consulting, design innovation, cross-border e-commerce, and comprehensive services, attracting nearly 250 institutions to participate. In addition to the physical exhibition, this Canton Fair will also hold the opening ceremony, the second the Pearl River International Trade Forum and nearly 400 trade promotion and exchange activities. 27 top multinational companies have confirmed their participation in the conference and are fully open to domestic buyers.
