The court was set up in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province on June 30, 2022. Shortly after the establishment of the court, Chen Yu, Executive Director of the China Great Wall Culture Research and Communication Center of Yanshan University, was invited to become one of the expert people's jurors of the court. He hoped that she would provide professional opinions for the trial of the case based on her knowledge and theoretical knowledge gained from the Great Wall research and research in recent years.
