At the welcoming ceremony on the same day, Bali Governor Koster said that Indonesia attaches great importance to the Chinese market. China has been one of the largest source countries of tourists to Bali for many years. At the peak, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Bali reached about 1.4 million. The return of Chinese tourists will certainly promote the vigorous development of Bali's tourism industry. Zhu Xinglong, the Chinese Consul General in Denpasar, who attended the ceremony on the same day, thanked the Indonesian side for its thoughtful arrangements and said that Indonesian friends showed that the Indonesian government and people warmly welcomed Chinese tourists to Bali with their practical actions.
