Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of the first batch of characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises. Among them, Guangdong has seven clusters on the list, ranking first with Shandong in the number of selected clusters, leading the country. The seven selected clusters are: Guangzhou Huangpu District Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Cluster, Foshan Nanhai District Hydrogen Energy Industrial Cluster, Guangzhou Huadu District Luggage and Leather Industrial Cluster, Zhanjiang Lianjiang Small Home Appliance Industrial Cluster, Shaoguan Nanxiong Paint Industrial Cluster, Shenzhen Nanshan District Intelligent Terminal Chip Design Industrial Cluster, Shenzhen Bao'an District Lithium Battery Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Cluster. From a regional perspective, a total of five clusters in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan Pearl River Delta cities were selected, and two clusters in the east and northwest of Guangdong Province. The regional coordinated development of characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province presented a good trend. From the perspective of industry, it is concentrated in Guangdong's advantageous industries such as intelligent manufacturing equipment, chips, new energy, new materials, small household appliances and luggage. The characteristic industrial cluster of small and medium-sized enterprises refers to the industrial cluster of small and medium-sized enterprises with strong core competitiveness, which is positioned within the scope of the county-level division, guided by the new development concept, dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on leading industries, prominent advantages and characteristics, gathering of resource elements, efficient cooperation network, and perfect governance services. Both the second plenary session of the 13th Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Economic Work Conference stressed that we should adhere to the principle of manufacturing ownership, and focus on big industries, platforms, projects, enterprises and environment. Cultivating and developing characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises is an important part of promoting high-quality development of manufacturing industry. The person in charge of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology said that next Guangdong will anchor the first task of high-quality development, adhere to the principle of taking the real economy as the foundation and the manufacturing industry as the leader, fully promote the construction of modern industrial system, accelerate the construction of a strong manufacturing province, and introduce the development measures of provincial characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises, with the county as an important carrier, to accelerate the specialized, characteristic and cluster development of small and medium-sized enterprises, Build a number of national and provincial characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises, and build a new economic growth point in the province.
