Korean media: Korean army will establish a joint UAV headquarters

The Army Aviation Command is equipped with attack and reconnaissance helicopters. Since the command will be responsible for creating a UAV command, UAV combat power may be formed based on the Army's air combat system. Quan He Kui said that although the Army currently has a UAV force, the Korean Army needs an organization that can perform multi arms cooperation tasks, so it is necessary to create a UAV headquarters. According to the report, South Korean President Yin Xiyue once instructed to create a UAV force. The Ministry of Defense proposed to set up a joint UAV headquarters capable of carrying out surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare and other tasks as soon as possible when reporting to Yin Xiyue the countermeasures against UAV intrusion.
