Spanish police said on November 30 that a mail explosion occurred at the Ukrainian Embassy in Spain in Madrid, the Spanish capital, that day, causing one person to be slightly injured. According to the information released by the police, at about 13:00 on the same day, a Ukrainian embassy staff member exploded while opening a letter, causing the staff member's right hand to be injured. It is understood that the injured person was not seriously affected and had gone to the hospital for medical treatment. The Spanish media El Pais said that the letter was addressed to the Ukrainian ambassador to Spain, without identifying the sender. After the incident, the Spanish police set up a cordon around the Ukrainian embassy, and dispatched explosive ordnance disposal technical experts, anti-terrorism experts, etc. At present, the investigation of this incident is still in progress.
