Wang Fangchen's "on the earth" is a novel reflecting Rural Revitalization in the new era. Based on the background that the national Fengmao Ecological Agriculture Organization settled in Dahewan XiangZhuang, it tells the story of villagers building a new city and opening a new life on the land where generations have lived under the leadership of Li Moxi, a rural cadre. "On the earth" vividly depicts the real ecology of grass-roots villages with a strong local flavor and rich details, keenly captures the spiritual growth of contemporary farmers, and reveals the vicissitudes of contemporary rural areas. As the core plot of the novel, the entry of the modern agricultural organization into Dahewan XiangZhuang reflects the profound changes that have taken place in the motherland in the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy. In the novel, tongjiazhuang, the first village to disappear in tazhen, with the spring breeze of reform and opening up, the Hantong group was established in the spring tide of entrepreneurship. Tongjiazhuang developed into a town. More than 1000 mu of land in XiangZhuang entered the construction in full swing. The villagers of XiangZhuang also experienced a collective identity change. They will move into Guangshan community and move towards a new life. From being in the countryside to being between the countryside and the city, and from the original farming style rural society to urban life, XiangZhuang villagers have to adapt to all kinds of changes brought about by the new urban environment and show an inseparable connection with their hometown. In the past, some of the villagers in Dahewan XiangZhuang became employees of Fengmao ecological farm, while others continued to look for ways to make a living. But as mayor Wan said, "no new village villager who has both the ability and the desire to work will be denied the opportunity to work." From mobilizing villagers to move into the new community, to leading people to create a new city, and then to opening a new life, Li Moxi, Secretary of the Party branch of XiangZhuang village, became the Acting Secretary of the joint office of Guangshan community, taking the lead with sincerity and courage to open up a new situation. The author portrayed the image of this grass-roots rural cadre as real and sensible. Instead of exaggerating his powerful skills, he focused on depicting his enthusiasm, determination and perseverance. Li Moxi is not an all-round character, but more like an ordinary person coming out of the countryside, with a distinct characteristic of breathing with the masses and sharing a common destiny. The novel's portrayal of the protagonist Li Moxi has become a new image emerging in the Rural Revitalization of the new era. While writing about rural revitalization, on the earth combines the natural presentation of rural customs with the poetic narrative style. This makes the grand theme of the novel not only supported by a large number of real details, but also brings people spiritual sublimation beyond the experience level. The narrative of the book is interspersed with fantastic myths and legends, such as the petrification of Nuwa's mending the sky as the "sacred stone" of Dahewan XiangZhuang; The "Kanguan" used in the "Introduction" has the meaning of ancient Chinese notebook novels; A large number of humorous folk songs and slangs, such as inverted words and lotus flowers, are used to vividly show the folk market customs. But these are not the writer's writing goals. Wang Fangchen focuses on how traditional culture can integrate with modern civilization. The writer said, "the land of Qilu, the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, is where I write. Although the novel is full of descriptions of a lot of folk customs, in fact, my novel world is open. Speaking of regional culture does not mean being closed, conservative or retrogressive." He believes that the culture of the new rural people
