"The China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation plan is an important platform for shaping my career development path and helping me grow." Mohamed sheikhmin, who works on the East Coast Railway (Malaysia East Railway) project in Malaysia, told reporters recently. At the construction site of division 6 of the Ma Dong railway project in Pahang state, Xia Heming is the on-site engineer responsible for pipeline relocation. It is his daily work to communicate and coordinate with the on-site construction team, property management department and local people. Xia Heming said that the documentaries he watched in middle school made him interested in railway construction, and becoming an engineer became his dream. When Xia Heming graduated from the civil engineering major of Malaysia's Pahang University, it coincided with the official launch of the China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation program. After selection at various levels, Xia Heming became one of the first trainees of the training program. "The courses of the training course are very different from those of my university. The university courses are quite extensive. The courses of the training course are focused on railway construction, including railway subgrade, bridge, tunnel, etc." After nearly three months of training, xiehming officially joined the Malaysia east railway project. The Malaysia east railway project undertaken by China Communications Construction Group (CCCC) is designed to have a total length of more than 600 kilometers. After completion, it will become a "land bridge" connecting the east coast and the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, driving the economic development of the east coast and greatly improving the connectivity of the areas along the line. It is not easy for the newly graduated Xia Heming to enter such a landmark project. The China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation program has provided opportunities for young people who love the project, such as Xia Heming. It is reported that the China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation program has trained more than 800 trainees, including engineers, reinforcement workers, experimenters, surveyors and concrete workers. Today, siahermin has become an experienced field engineer. "I feel like my dream has come true because I can work in the field I am interested in and study." Xia Heming said happily to the reporter. According to Guo Xibao, a senior engineer in charge of pipeline relocation and reconstruction of the Sixth Division, the on-site engineers should be familiar with all aspects of the construction site. Pipeline relocation and reconstruction is an important link in railway construction. "Xia Heming is active and eager to learn, good at expression, and has strong communication skills. He is very comfortable with his work." From a fledgling college student to an independent talent of the East Malaysia railway project, the employees who enter the East Malaysia railway project through the China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation program, such as Xia Heming, are playing an increasingly important role in the project construction. Tang Zhen, head of human resources affairs of the General Manager Department of the East Malaysia railway project, said that the China Malaysia railway talent training cooperation plan is an important embodiment of the East Malaysia railway project to actively fulfill social responsibilities, create employment for the local people and drive local economic development. Participating in the Ma Dong railway project is a good opportunity for local people to seek career development and improve their lives. When visiting the project site in June, Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail said that the Malaysia east railway project has provided many technical posts for the local people, and the talent training program has trained a large number of local railway industry talents. The Sino Malaysian railway talent training cooperation plan started in September 2017 was jointly organized by China Communications Construction Corporation and Malaysia railway connection company, and Beijing Communications of China
