The fifth cross strait Youth Development Forum was held in Hangzhou on the 11th. The theme of this forum is "working together to create a better life", which is in line with the common aspirations of compatriots on both sides of the Strait and the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation. The mainland of the motherland has successfully achieved the first Centennial goal and is making vigorous progress towards the second Centennial goal. It will provide broad space for compatriots on both sides of the Strait, especially young people on both sides of the Strait, to work together and forge ahead. We sincerely welcome more young people from Taiwan to come to the mainland to pursue their youth dreams and create a better life, and are willing to create better conditions for everyone to participate in cross-strait exchanges and cooperation. Wang Yang pointed out that at present, the uncertainty and instability of the situation in the Taiwan Strait are increasing. The separation of "Taiwan independence" is the biggest realistic threat for compatriots on both sides of the Strait to join hands to create a better life. However, the historical wheel of national reunification and national rejuvenation is unstoppable, and the sonorous pace of compatriots on both sides of the Strait to create a better life is unstoppable.
