Fast food support of field diet is a catering support mode that focuses on the complex battlefield conditions of modern war and meets the new requirements of "fast delivery, fast cooking, fast distribution, fast eating and fast cleaning". By changing the support concept, optimizing the support system, innovating support means and reforming support methods, it has changed the traditional hot food support mode of "continuous self cooking" and "ready to eat", and built a new field food support mode of "standardized catering, large-scale production, finished product supply, cold chain storage and transportation, convenient cooking and accurate delivery". It is understood that the new field series food has the characteristics of "combination of individual and collective, general and special". Relevant departments innovated and improved the quality, introduced mature rice, freeze-dried fruit drying and other processes, and strengthened the improvement in improving nutrition, smart transportation, quality and preservation; In order to improve their functionality, they developed three sets of special foods to increase functional ingredients such as anti fatigue, anti hypoxia and electrolyte supplement; In order to improve the hunger resistance of officers and soldiers when performing tasks, they selected highland barley and other cold resistant foods and specially developed "individual combat rations". In addition, some foods have self heating function and can be eaten at an altitude of more than 3000 meters and under severe cold conditions, so as to realize fast food heating and sufficient energy supplement in Plateau and alpine areas. In the next step, relevant departments will focus on preparing for war, integrate social advantageous resources, and bring canned food, energy bars, dehydrated vegetables, freeze-dried soup and other food commonly used by the general and the people into the supply system of plateau troops, so as to comprehensively improve the quality of food supply and meet the needs of military combat support in the whole region.
