China signed one belt, one road China Agreement, one belt, one road initiative, which was signed by Morocco and China on January 5th. It is reported that the agreement is a road map for the implementation of China's initiative, which was signed by Nasser Britta, Minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation of Morocco, and Ning Jizhe, deputy director of China's national development and Reform Commission, at a video conference ceremony. The report quoted the Maghreb Arab News Agency as saying that its purpose is to obtain Chinese funds for large-scale projects in Morocco, establish joint ventures in the industrial and energy sectors, and create convenient conditions for research and technical cooperation. According to the agreement, Beijing promised to encourage Chinese enterprises to invest in Morocco. It is reported that Morocco became the first Maghreb country to join the initiative in November 2017. Britta pointed out that the bilateral trade volume between the two countries has increased by 50% in the past five years, from about US $4 billion in 2016 to about US $6 billion in 2021.
