2021-12-13

On the 12th, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held a special press conference to refute "forced labor" in Urumqi. Experts, scholars and representatives of various industries introduced the fact that people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have been protected by law in terms of voluntary employment, decent work, labor rights and interests and reproductive rights, and refuted the "forced labor" involved in Xinjiang by Anti China forces in the United States and the West. Hu Zhichun, the host of the press conference, introduced that the United States banned and illegally detained the cotton, tomato and cotton textile industries in Xinjiang under the pretext of "forced labor" in Xinjiang. Its fundamental purpose is to curb the stable development of Xinjiang and deprive all ethnic groups of their rights to survival, employment and development by suppressing these important industries in Xinjiang. Gulipali Abdullah, vice president of Xinjiang Normal University, said that the so-called "genocide" in Xinjiang spread by Anti China forces in the United States and the west is extremely absurd and has been widely questioned and opposed by the legal, academic and media circles of the international community, "As a minority scholar in Xinjiang, I want to tell rumor mongers that your rumor slander stands on the opposite of human morality and conscience and has been despised by the world." In order to help fight poverty and the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry, Xinjiang garment designers association has gone to southern Xinjiang to provide relevant training for ethnic minority employees. With the improvement of personal skills, the income of many textile and garment practitioners has gradually increased, realizing "one person employment and the whole family out of poverty". Gao Hui, vice president of the association, said: "We will never allow foreign forces with ulterior motives to confuse the development of cotton and cotton textile industry in Xinjiang." Wusimanjiang maitiruzi is the head of a labor dispatch Co., Ltd. in Cele County, Hotan Prefecture. The company looks for jobs for those who need to work and helps them protect their rights and interests according to law. Wusimanjiang maitiruzi said: "The migrant workers dispatched by the company sign up voluntarily. The company fully understands and complies with my wishes to choose jobs. It will also carry out various trainings to ensure that they go out to work safely and smoothly." Bibi agar maimaimaiti Turdi of Aheqi County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, worked with her boyfriend in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province in 2017, with a monthly salary of about 4500 yuan. After working for two years, they used their savings to hold a satisfactory wedding and decorate their new home. This year, they continued to work and live in a shoe factory in Fujian. She said: "We work with our own hands to change our life and make life better. We don't need to be forced!" The press conference also broadcast a video of workers from all over Xinjiang and all industries telling themselves a better life and refuting rumors. Hu Zhichun said that facts have proved that the labor rights and interests of people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are protected according to law, and the so-called "forced labor" is sheer nonsense.
