The attitude of the education sector to actively implement the double reduction is worthy of recognition. However, the policy of allowing children to get high marks in the exam has made many parents anxious. The difficulty of the exam is reduced. Can the pressure of parents and children be reduced accordingly? This needs to discuss a question: is there a direct relationship between the difficulty and burden of the exam? In fact, the absolute burden is related to one's (parents') expectations and has little to do with the difficulty of the exam. For example, in the college entrance examination in the 1980s, sometimes few students in a class passed a certain subject, but I'm afraid no one would say that the burden at that time was heavier than it is now. The reasons are complicated. At least for one thing, students and parents did not pursue scores so high at that time. No matter how difficult the exam is, if you want to get a low score, it is extremely easy; No matter how simple the exam is, if you want to get full marks, you must pay. The difficulty of the examination is reduced. If a class can score more than 90 points in the countdown of the whole class, when one score of the college entrance examination puts down a playground person, parents may be more anxious, and the burden of children may not be reduced. Statistics show that in the past 10 years, the average score of Beijing college entrance examination has increased significantly. At the same time, the number of training institutions and relevant revenue figures are also growing rapidly. Has the burden of middle school students been reduced? It is estimated that no one dares to pat his chest and bet. The biggest advantage of reducing the difficulty of examination is that more people have a sense of obtaining scores. "High score candidates" are everywhere, making people feel that "Why are children so powerful now". However, the children are all powerful, and the intensity of competition can be imagined. Many excellent children will not reduce the burden, because the final fight is a gap of one point and two points. Many years ago, a teacher reluctantly introduced to me that the full score of mathematics in their class was 120 and the average score was 118; The full score of physics is 100, with an average score of 98. To some extent, the popularity of question brushing education is precisely because the examination is easier, the spelling is not wrong, and there are fewer mistakes. Therefore, many excellent children study hard for a year in order to deduct one or two points less. Qiu Chengtong class of Tsinghua University lowered the admission grade to the third grade of junior high school in order to liberate such excellent students and liberate them from the ineffective learning of the third grade of junior high school. Examination is an important means of education quality monitoring, which can effectively control education quality. Educational tests tend to have a normal distribution, that is, there are fewer students with high and low scores, and most students' scores are in the middle. Artificially setting a difficulty goal, such as an average of more than 95 points, can reduce the pressure of scores, but it is of little significance to reduce the pressure of competition. There is indeed a statement in the burden reduction provisions to reduce the difficulty of the examination, but this is for some difficult and strange questions and super outline questions in the examination, not to cater to and please students' parents. Under the background that it is impossible to adjust the college entrance examination system in the short term, everyone gets high scores, which makes many parents panic about "removing the blind box" (they don't know what their children will do in the future college entrance examination competition). Double reduction first requires to improve the quality of education in the school, meet the educational needs of students to the greatest extent, including diverse educational needs, and let students return to the campus. The second is subtraction, subtracting the unnecessary burden of homework in class and the burden of extracurricular tutorial classes. If the school can not meet the educational needs of students and parents, parents and students may still leave the campus for training institutions and the market. If such a thing happens on a large scale, our burden reduction will be tantamount to failure and return to the origin. On this issue, we can not avoid a sensitive issue, that is, what is a reasonable, correct and rational educational demand, and how to solve and face the irrational educational demand. Guiding the transformation of parents' ideas is a long process. In view of this, we must pay attention to the core needs of parents, meet the basic educational needs including cultural studies as much as possible, and provide students and parents with opportunities and space to pursue higher education.
