Iranian Foreign Minister: Iran will fully develop its national defense forces in disregard of U.S. sanctions

2021-11-10

Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullah Hyan said on the 9th that Iran will ignore U.S. sanctions and fully develop its national defense forces. According to the news released on the website of the Iranian foreign ministry, abdullahiyan said on the phone with French Foreign Minister Le drion that day that Iran, like any other country, has the right to have a national defense plan, which is a sovereign right. Iran will not ignore the "non constructive sanctions policy" of the United States and will spare no effort to develop its national defense forces. The latest US sanctions against Iran show that the United States does not deserve Iran's trust. Abdullahiyan said that Iran is serious about the Iranian nuclear negotiations and is ready to return to the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue immediately, but Iran demands that the parties concerned fully abide by their commitments and effectively lift sanctions. Abdullah Hyan said on the evening of the 8th that the United States should be responsible for the current nuclear dilemma in Iraq. The United States must completely lift sanctions against Iraq. The US Treasury Department announced on October 29 that it would impose sanctions on two Iranian enterprises and four relevant individuals related to the Iranian UAV project. In July 2015, Iran reached an Iran nuclear agreement with the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany. In May 2018, the US government unilaterally withdrew from the Iranian nuclear agreement, and then restarted and added a series of sanctions against Iraq. Since May 2019, Iran has gradually suspended the implementation of some provisions of the Iran nuclear agreement, but promised that the measures taken are "reversible". The talks between the parties to the Iran nuclear agreement began in April this year in Vienna, the capital of Austria, to discuss the resumption of compliance between the United States and Iran. So far, six rounds have been held. Due to the serious differences between the United States and Iran and the change of leadership of the Iranian government, a new round of talks has not been held. Iran and the European Union announced on the 3rd of this month that the Iranian nuclear negotiations will be restarted on the 29th. (outlook new era)
