He gradually became more and more vain and greedy for luxury. Often change different styles of brand-name bags. High-end hotels are the first choice for tourism. In the eyes of people around, Bai "never lacks money". "He often asked us to travel, and often arranged everyone's food, housing and transportation." in the process of communication with people, Bai was very generous, "including food and housing" was just a piece of cake. In fact, his parents are just ordinary workers. With Bai's income level, he can't afford such high daily expenses. In order to satisfy his vanity, he borrowed money from usury, and the curse was buried from then on. Bai explained to the investigators. At first, Bai illegally took two sums of other people's housing provident fund. First, he paid off the arrears in urgent need of repayment, and then took the remaining funds to invest in bars and restaurants, with the intention of "borrowing chickens to lay eggs", thinking that he could not only repay the remaining arrears, but also make more money. However, it backfired. The more business he did, the more he lost. On the contrary, he couldn't make ends meet, so he had to tear down east walls to make up for west walls. "Borrowing chicken to lay eggs" has evolved into "chicken flying eggs", and Bai once again extended his evil hand to the housing provident fund. Greed and fluke drive Bai to the abyss of illegal crime like a moth to the fire. Many times of illegal arbitrage of funds were not found, and the amount of funds obtained by Bai was increasing. In 2018 alone, Bai illegally obtained the housing provident fund 33 times, up to more than RMB 3.05 million. For more than three years, he has maintained his "Hao" image with illegal income. Paper can't wrap fire after all. In May 2021, some people in Lancang County reported that the funds in their housing provident fund account were withdrawn without going through the formalities. When the unit leader found Bai to understand the situation, he realized that the east window incident had happened, but it was irreparable and had to tell his parents everything. On May 27, 2021, accompanied by his parents, Bai took the initiative to surrender to the Lancang County Commission for Discipline Inspection and supervision, and explained his illegal and criminal acts to the investigators. As early as September 2017, Bai, together with his friends, took advantage of Bai's position to withdraw housing provident fund for others in violation of regulations. Through investigation and verification, during the period from December 19, 2017 to May 26, 2021, Bai took advantage of his position to illegally obtain a total of more than 5.495 million yuan of housing provident fund for investment and operation, personal consumption and loan repayment. From September 2017 to may 2021, Bai and his friends illegally accepted bribes of more than 865000 yuan from others. "We were also shocked. Bai was so bold when he was young. Influenced by money worship and bewitched by vanity, he made mistakes step by step and ruined his good youth." in the process of investigating and handling the case, the investigators felt sorry for him more than once. "I dare not ask for leave, dare not be late and leave early, because I am afraid of being found. I will always guard the office computer during working hours. If someone comes to query the balance of housing provident fund, I can know and deal with it at the first time." in more than three years, Bai has not slept soundly and often paralyzed himself with alcohol. His inner torture makes him live in suffering every day. At the end of September 2019, Bai was even found to have a heart problem. Bai thought that "God doesn't know the ghost", but he had already stepped into the cage woven by himself. Taking his personal future as a bet, he drank his own bitter wine in front of Party discipline and national law. On May 30, 2021, Bai was detained by Lancang County Commission for Discipline Inspection and supervision; On September 16, 2021, Bai was transferred to the people's Procuratorate of Lancang Lahu Autonomous County for examination and prosecution on suspicion of embezzlement and bribery.
