The reporter learned from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that in order to further promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa free countries and implement visa free policies for ordinary passport holders in Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea. From November 8, 2024 to December 31, 2025, individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days are eligible for visa free entry. Individuals who do not meet the visa exemption requirements still need to obtain a Chinese visa before entering the country. (New Society)
