High quality breeding cattle selected for the beauty pageant of yaks in the hinterland of Sanjiangyuan, Qinghai

On September 11th, Gande County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, located in the hinterland of the Three Rivers Source, held a "Yak Ya Sai" where local people brought their own cattle to participate in the selection. On site, agricultural and livestock experts at the provincial, prefectural, and county levels measured the body height, italic length, chest circumference, and quality of the participating cattle and gave a comprehensive score. The higher the score, the better the quality of the cattle and the richer the competition rewards. (New Society)
