Since last year, the Ministry of Justice has continuously strengthened legislation in key areas, emerging areas, and foreign-related fields. In 2023, the Ministry of Justice reviewed and completed 51 legislative projects, a year-on-year increase of 96.2%; Complete the centralized cleaning of over 600 currently effective administrative regulations. Focusing on the needs and expectations of enterprises and the public, the Ministry of Justice continues to deepen notarization and certificate reduction for the convenience of the people. It has released a standardized list of 81 proof materials in 33 categories to the society, and removed 116 unnecessary proof materials, effectively solving problems such as circular proof and meaningless proof. In order to safeguard the legitimate interests of Chinese citizens and enterprises overseas, the Ministry of Justice actively promotes foreign-related legal work. At present, Chinese law firms have established 207 branches in 37 countries and regions, with more than 12000 foreign-related lawyers.
