2024 Internet plus New Economy Academic Conference will be held in Guangzhou from 6th to 7th. The release ceremony of the "Guangzhou Micro Drama Industry Self Discipline Convention" was held at the meeting. This year, micro dramas have rapidly risen with their unique charm. Behind its explosive popularity, some issues that cannot be ignored, such as uneven content quality and distorted personal and social values, have also surfaced. In order to promote the healthy development of the micro drama industry, the Guangzhou Internet Association went deep into the industry research, formed the Self discipline Convention of the Guangzhou Micro drama Industry, and received positive responses from many enterprises in the industry. The release of the convention marks a new stage of development for the micro drama industry in Guangzhou towards greater standardization and maturity. The unveiling ceremony of the Guangzhou Network Ecological Governance Compliance Development Practice Base was held at the event site. The base will focus on the pain points and difficulties of the compliance construction of the Guangzhou Internet enterprise platform, provide one-stop services for the development of enterprise compliance, and escort the compliance construction and operation of Guangzhou Internet enterprises by integrating government and enterprise resources, focusing on exploring the establishment of a government enterprise communication mechanism and feedback mechanism, establishing a compliance guidance expert database, law popularization training system, formulating standards and norms, building a legal advisory platform, and providing diagnostic and advisory services. The rapid development and increasingly widespread application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AIGC) technology have also brought a series of new security risks and challenges. At this meeting, Rao Xiaoyan, Director of Content Security Products at NetEase Yidun, gave a keynote speech on "AIGC Content Compliance Risks and Practices". Interpreting the new challenges of content security in the AIGC era, the construction of AIGC compliance system, and addressing future security challenges from three dimensions, we call for industry collaboration to address security challenges. In order to prevent major security risks brought by generative AI and improve the security level of generative AI, under the leadership of the Guangzhou Internet Association, NetEase Shield led and joined forces with a number of enterprises and law firms to formulate the Guidelines for Security Compliance of Generative AI Services. It is reported that the added value of core industries in Guangzhou's digital economy will reach 394.6 billion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, accounting for 12.8% of the city's regional GDP. The core industry of digital economy has become a pillar industry for the high-quality development of Guangzhou's economy. The recently released "Guangzhou Digital Economy High Quality Development Plan" proposes that Guangzhou will build a leading area for digital innovation development, a demonstration area for integrated development of data and reality, a dynamic area for data value transformation, a leading area for digital open cooperation, and a pilot area for digital ecological governance with high standards.
