Recently, the first 2024 Artificial Intelligence Advanced Technology Achievement Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference was held in Mianyang, Sichuan. At the meeting, a total of 23 investment projects were signed, mainly focusing on industrial robots, drones, smart transportation, key components and other fields, with a total signed amount of 10.043 billion yuan. In this batch of signed projects, the manufacturing project of electronic components and key parts of intelligent robots is planned to be located in Mianyang High tech Zone (directly managed by Science and Technology City), where two new electronic component equipment and mold production lines and one key parts manufacturing production line for intelligent robots will be built; Mianyang Science and Technology City New Area has signed a "Artificial Intelligence+" cooperation project with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., which will build an integrated inference platform based on Huawei Ascend's full stack software and hardware, and strengthen the demonstration application of artificial intelligence in industry scenarios such as urban governance, government services, and transportation. As one of the theme activities of this conference, the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Achievement Exhibition was launched on July 26th. 150 domestic key artificial intelligence enterprises and local enterprises and research institutes in Mianyang participated in the exhibition, with more than 300 exhibits including humanoid robots, intelligent control unmanned systems, AI large model interactive virtual products, covering advanced technology, terminal consumption, industry applications, achievement transformation and other fields. Currently, Mianyang is taking unconventional measures to promote the high-quality development of the artificial intelligence industry. In June of this year, Mianyang issued the "Several Policies to Support the Development of Artificial Intelligence Industry in Mianyang City (Trial)", focusing on key areas and key links in the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and promoting the integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy from three dimensions: scientific and technological research, industrial development, and ecological construction.
