Recently, the Tianjin Pharmaceutical Research and Development Transformation Collaborative Innovation Platform was officially launched. This platform is led by the Municipal Drug Administration and collaborates with relevant government departments, research and development institutions, research institutes, and clinical trial institutions to explore and establish a smooth channel between drug industry, academia, and research with production enterprises, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry. It is reported that the platform integrates 31 drug clinical trial institutions, 127 drug production enterprises, large drug research and development units in Tianjin, as well as universities such as Tsinghua University and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to encourage the research and development of original drugs and single point breakthroughs in innovative drugs, accelerate the incubation and transformation of new drugs, and assist in the listing of drugs with better clinical value. The relevant person in charge of the Tianjin Municipal Drug Administration said that by building an innovation platform, we can better summarize and publish the cooperation needs of various units on the platform. The drug regulatory department will take specific projects as the starting point, introduce a series of supportive policies and measures, and form a rapid transformation chain around the research and development, clinical, trial, incubation, production and other links involved in the project, to accelerate the implementation of the project.
