In the first quarter of this year, the province's finance has allocated a total of 173 million yuan for elderly meal assistance services, and has supported the construction of 1010 new elderly cafeterias (meal aid points), completing 40.4% of this year's tasks, exceeding the scheduled progress. It is reported that this year, the provincial finance of Anhui Province will continue to provide one-time construction subsidies of 100000 yuan and 30000 yuan for the construction of new elderly canteens and elderly meal aid points, respectively. Support cities and counties to provide certain operating subsidies to elderly meal service institutions based on the number of service personnel, and implement tax and fee reduction policies. Encourage cities and counties to provide appropriate dining subsidies based on the economic difficulties and other conditions of the elderly. At the same time, effectively activate existing resources, integrate and make good use of existing elderly care service institutions and community elderly care service facilities, do not simply build new ones, and support various business entities to participate in elderly meal assistance services.
