The astronauts of God 14 began to "dismantle express delivery"

2022-11-14

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the crew of Shenzhou XIV astronauts successfully opened the cargo hatch of Tianzhou 5 at 14:18 on November 13, Beijing time, and successfully entered the cargo spaceship of Tianzhou 5 at 15:03 after completing environmental testing and other preparations. Subsequently, the astronaut crew will carry out cargo transfer and other related work as planned. The Tianzhou V cargo spaceship carried consumables, propellants, application (test) devices and other materials for the three astronauts of Shenzhou 15 who stayed in orbit for six months, as well as the "Macao Student Science Popularization Satellite I", hydrogen oxygen fuel cells for aerospace, space wide energy spectrum high-energy particle detection load and other test projects. At 10:03 on November 12, Tianzhou V cargo spaceship was launched from Wenchang Space Launch Site by Long March 7 Yaoliu carrier rocket and successfully put into orbit. At 12:10 on November 12, the Tianzhou V cargo spaceship adopted an independent fast rendezvous and docking mode and successfully docked with the back port of the space station and the core module. For the first time, Chinese astronauts welcomed the cargo spaceship to the space station. For the first time, this mission achieved a two-hour independent fast rendezvous and docking, creating a world record. This technological breakthrough is of great significance to improve China's space rendezvous and docking level, and enhance the mission emergency supplies supply capacity of the space station.
