Fu Linghui said that compared with major countries in the world, China's market supply is generally sufficient, and the price increase is significantly lower. In April, the CPI increased by 2.1% year-on-year, and the core CPI excluding food and energy is only 0.9%. In the case of large imported inflation pressure, it is not easy for China's prices to maintain a stable and moderate rise. Judging from the situation in April, the year-on-year increase in China's consumer prices has expanded, mainly due to the impact of food prices from decline to rise. Affected by the epidemic, the rise of logistics costs and the increase of demand for some goods, food prices increased from 1.5% last month to 1.9%, affecting the rise of CPI by 0.35 percentage points. At the same time, affected by international factors, some energy prices rose higher, which also boosted the increase of consumer prices. Since the beginning of this year, under the continuous influence of the global epidemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the relationship between supply and demand of global energy and food prices has been tense. The supply chain and industrial chain are under great pressure, the prices of primary products are running at a high level, and the inflationary pressure in various countries has increased significantly. Referring to China's price outlook, Fu Linghui believes that although the recent increase in consumer prices has expanded, on the whole, China's market supply capacity of goods and services is relatively sufficient, and there are more favorable conditions to maintain price stability. First, there is a foundation for stable food prices. China's grain production has been stable at more than 1.3 trillion Jin for seven consecutive years, and the inventory is relatively sufficient. The output of rice and wheat has exceeded the demand for many years, and a small amount of imports are mainly for variety adjustment. Corn and soybean have certain import volume, which will be affected by the international market to a certain extent, but the impact is limited. Since the beginning of this year, China's grain production situation has continued to improve, and there is a good foundation for grain prices to remain stable. At present, the pig production capacity is relatively sufficient, and the pork price is still declining year-on-year. In the later stage, affected by the gradual adjustment of pig production capacity, the pork price will rise, but the range is limited. Second, the energy supply is stable and guaranteed. China's main energy source is coal, which has rich coal reserves and strong production capacity. With the gradual release of advanced coal production capacity, it is conducive to curb the rise of energy prices. Third, the supply capacity of most industrial consumer goods is sufficient. China has a complete industrial system and strong supporting capacity, and the output of major industrial products is in the forefront of the world, which has laid a solid foundation for product price stability. "In addition, service consumption is still recovering, the price increase is relatively low, and the market is strengthening the efforts to ensure supply and stabilize prices.
