According to the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the experimental device for comprehensive extreme conditions has been fully put into trial operation, of which 20 experimental stations are open for sharing with users at home and abroad, and some experimental stations have begun to produce scientific research results in succession. The comprehensive extreme condition experimental device is an experimental device that integrates extreme conditions such as ultra-high voltage, extremely low temperature, strong magnetic field, and ultrafast optical field, which can greatly enhance China's comprehensive strength in basic research and applied basic research in material science and related fields. The device (Beijing part) is located in Huairou District, Beijing, at the Huairou Comprehensive National Science Center. Construction began in September 2017. (New Society)
