China's railway welcomes peak return passenger flow

On October 7th, in Nanjing, Jiangsu, passengers arriving at the train station walked towards the exit. On that day, China Railway experienced a peak in return passenger flow, with an expected 19.86 million passengers to be transported. A total of 13103 passenger trains were planned to be operated, including 1705 additional trains. The daily capacity deployment reached a historic high. (New Society)
