The continuous growth of railway freight volume reflects the positive trend of China's economic recovery The relevant person in charge of China Railway Group stated that in the next step, China Railway Group will further deepen the market-oriented reform of railway freight transportation, accelerate the construction of modern railway logistics system, continuously improve the market competitiveness of railway logistics products, and help reduce the logistics costs of the whole society. The railway freight volume continues to grow. China Railway Group is accelerating the construction of a modern railway logistics system, deepening the market-oriented reform of railway freight, and continuously improving the efficiency and service quality of freight capacity. In the first quarter, railway freight presented three major highlights: firstly, the significant effect of the "revolving railway" of bulk goods. China Railway Group vigorously develops logistics general contracting services, actively integrates into the enterprise supply chain, deeply connects production, transportation, and demand with large power generation, steel, and coal production enterprises, reduces intermediate links, and lowers overall logistics costs. At the same time, we will carefully organize the transportation of spring plowing materials such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc., open up green channels, implement priority transportation, strengthen full process monitoring, and ensure that the farming time is not missed. Secondly, there has been a strong growth in the operation of freight trains. In the first quarter, a total of 12600 freight trains were operated across the railway bureau group company, with an average daily loading of 5000 vehicles, an increase of 135% and 154% respectively year-on-year, which effectively served the construction of the domestic circulation and unified national market. Among them, efficient logistics demonstration trains will be established between major economic regions such as Beijing Tianjin Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu Chongqing, implementing "passenger car" operation and online booking to ensure transportation time limits, promote regional economic exchanges and interactions, and smooth the domestic circulation. Carefully organizing cross-border cargo transportation, the China Europe freight train maintains stable operation, and the Central Asia freight train has cumulatively operated 3582 trains, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%. The China Laos Railway has delivered 1.513 million tons of cross-border goods, up 10% year on year, effectively promoting international economic and trade exchanges. Thirdly, the quality of railway logistics services continues to improve. The "One Order System" function of Railway 95306 and the sea freight booking system have been officially launched and put into operation. We have expanded cooperation with shipping companies and jointly developed 9 iron rail intermodal products. In the first quarter, a total of 3.951 million TEUs of intermodal container goods were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 19.4%. The railway network freight logistics platform is running smoothly, with 119000 vehicles settled in. In the first quarter, it completed the transportation of 47.53 million tons from both ends of the railway, a year-on-year increase of 73%, promoting efficient connection between public and railway intermodal transportation and improving the overall logistics efficiency. According to the data of China Railway Group, which accelerated the construction of key projects, in the first quarter, the national railway completed fixed assets investment of 131.2 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% year on year, giving effective play to the role of railway construction investment in driving domestic demand in an all-round way and providing strong support for promoting coordinated regional economic and social development. A batch of projects have been successfully launched and put into operation. We will orderly promote the joint debugging and testing of key projects, complete engineering acceptance, safety assessment, operation preparation and other work with high quality, and ensure the timely completion and opening of new lines and stations. The section from Songcheng Road Station to Kaifeng Station of Zhengzhou Kaifeng Intercity Railway has been completed and opened to traffic, and the entire Zhengzhou Kaifeng Intercity Railway has been put into operation. After the upgrade and renovation of Shanghai South Station, it has made a brand new appearance, forming a modern comprehensive transportation hub with convenient transfers to urban rail transit, buses, taxis, and other transportation options. The Lanzhou Zhangye high-speed railway Zhongchuan Airport East Station has been opened for operation, seamlessly connecting with the T3 terminal of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport to facilitate air rail intermodal transportation. China Railway Group focuses on key projects to be put into operation within the year, optimizes construction organization, and ensures the smooth progress of ongoing projects. Among them, the connecting line between the Shanghai Kunming railway and the Anshun Liupanshui high-speed railway has been successfully completed. The construction of the Zhangzhou Shantou high-speed railway offshore project has started, with the Qingcaoshan tunnel connecting the Chongqing Kunming high-speed railway, the Shantou Bay underwater tunnel connecting the Shantou Shantou high-speed railway, and the entire tunnel connecting the Panzhou Xingyi high-speed railway.
